The sports car from the house of Mazda is offered in both the coupe and in convertible versions. Though the production of the car has been stopped in 2002, the new car with new facelifts is expected to hit the car market by the end of 2010. The RX 7 model was released as a direct replacement vehicle to the RX3 sports car, produced by the same company.
Exteriors & Interiors
The sports car is in production since 1978. The car is provided with all the exteriors and interiors needed for a sports car. The features included in the recent model are stiffer shock absorbers, dual oil coolers, Z-rated rubber and synthetic suede seating, standard front and rear spoilers and functional brake cooling ducts. The RX7 seat provided in the car gives the passenger a comfort feeling it is made using rubber and synthetic material.
Engine
The power to the vehicle comes from a 1.3 liter turbochared 2-rotor Wankel engine that produces 255 hp and torque of 217 lb ft. The engine in the vehicle is mated to a standard five-speed manual transmission, while it offers four-speed automatic transmission as optional. Apart from the comfortable upholstry, the sports car is also equipped with all the needed safety and handling features.
