The RX 7 from the house of Mazda is a sports car produced from 1978. The company has stopped the production of these cars due to their low sales. According to the sources from the company, it is expected that the new version of RX7 is ready to hit the car market by the end of 2010. The first RX7 sale had happened in the model year 1978.
The RX 7 was released as a direct replacement to the RX3 model and was designed based on the Celica model. Due to the low RX 7 turnover, the company in 2002 stopped the production of cars and it is likely to hit the market soon.
Engine
The introduction RX 7 model was powered by a twin rotor 1146 cc Wankel rotary engine and was provided in rear wheel drive. Later in 1991, the engine was replaced by 300ZX twin turbo engine, which is used in the Honda’s NSX version.

The features in the RX 7 model include pop up headlights, aero wave roof, and rotor shape in grill opening. The other engine available to the vehicle include a 1.3 liter Hitachi HT12 turbo engine that can produce power up to 255 hp and torque of 217 lb ft.
