The Mazda RX 7 is a sports model manufactured by the Mazda since 1978 and the company has stopped production in 2002 model year. The sports car is a replacement to the RX 3 model.



Dimensions

The RX 7 is in a list of Ten Best list for five times. The recent generation RX7 pictures appear elegant in comparison to the previous versions. As far as the dimensions of the vehicle are concerned, it has the wheel base of 95.5 inches, length of 168.5 inches, width of 68.9 inches and 48.4 inches. It has the curb weight of 2826 lbs.

Engine

The RX 7 is a two seat convertible version that has sufficient leg and head room. The power to the vehicle comes from the 1.3 liter turbo charged wankel rotary 2 engine that produces power up to 255 hp and torque of 217 lb ft. The engine in the vehicle is mated to a standard five speed manual transmission, while it offers four-speed automatic as optional.

Some of the mechanical standards in the vehicle include engine oil cooler, rack and pinion steering wheel, power plant frame, inline rotary engine, power assisted four wheel ventilated disc brakes, torsen torque sensing limited slip differential, and anti lock braking system.
