For the 2009 model year the Mazda RX7 comes as an RX8 4-seat sports car version.

The 2009 Rx8 model comes with evolutionary styling updates, revised rear suspension and gearing, and more rigid driveshaft and rigid structure. Though the powertrain remains same for Miata RX7, its functional upgrades, cosmetics and sports suspension upgrades qualify it as one of the best sports car in the line.

Engine & Performance

The future model has the seating capacity to accommodate up to four passengers. It also has enough space for cargo. Though it has enough room space, but when compared with the sedan model it is less. The powerful rotary engine equipped in the car makes it a true sports car. The engine in the Miata RX7 is mated to a standard 6-speed automatic transmission, replacing the previous 4-speed automatic transmission.

Interiors

Apart from the powerful engine to the car it is decorated with fine gadgets, inside and out. Some of the interiors in the sports car include air conditioning, leather upholstery, cargo space, height adjustable drive and front passenger seat, floor mats, AM/FM satellite radio, and navigation system with real time traffic updates. To compliment the interior region of the sports car, it also offers various exterior styles and colors.
