The 1983 RX7 is a technologically advanced sports car, powered by a 13B engine that produces power up to 135 hp, an increase by 11 hp in comparison to the previous model.
The other modifications to the this vehicle include addition of second fuel injection system, digitally controlled Bosch L- Jetronic, wider valves and throttle intakes, larger air cleaner and new rotor apex seal.
Performance
The engine used in this model became more durable with increased fuel economy and horse power. The maximum power delivered by the engine is 150 hp and torque of 138 lb ft. With the powerful engine, the 1983 RX7 model can achieve fuel economy of 17 miles per gallon in the city premises and 23 miles per gallon on the highway roads.
The interior in the car is modern, ergonomic and convenient. The other features include coolant temperature, fuel level display, orange instrument needles, battery charge, red lettering, four auxiliary dials for oil pressure and 8000 RPM tachometer.
