1981 rx7
The 1981 RX-7 was a sports car, which was offered by a Japanese Automobile manufacturing company namely Mazda. The original features of RX- 7 included the wankel rotor engine with a capacity of 1146cc. The 1981 Mazda RX-7 was included in the Tom Walkinshaw Motor racing.
Since, Mazda had commenced the production of RX-7 in 1978; the 1981 RX-7 was not equipped with modern and advanced features as in its 1990s or 2000s models. The 1981 RX -7 cars were also called as the Mazda series-2 cars. The same models were offered till 1983.
The 1981 Mazda RX- 7 was offered with wraparound taillights, updated engine control equipments, 4 wheel disc brakes, large rubber body side moldings as well as integrated plastic hooded bumpers. The RX- 7 model was also equipped with front ventilated system, clutch type rear LSD system as well as GSL packages. However, the front ventilated system was not designed in all the 1981 RX-7 except the Australian models.
The Limited slip Differential or LSD system was offered in all the models of 1981 RX-7. Moreover, this LSD system was called as FB system in North America after the introduction of a mandatory 17 digit vehicle identification number by the US Department of Transportation.
